Plastic Signs

Plastic signs are generally used for interior sign applications but there are many useful outdoor sign applications as well. Acrylic, Lexan, PVC, Styrene and  Coroplast all make fantastic sign materials.

Coroplast - This is perhaps the most economical and diverse material out of all of the plastic signs. Typically used for short term signage, coroplast is light-weight, inexpensive and very versatile. It is also one of the quickest signs for us to build!

Acrylic and Lexan signs are typically used for illuminated light boxes because they work very well throughout the year in our fantastic Maryland weather! Acrylic signs tend to be whiter for longer periods of time, but lexan is quite a bit stronger and needed for any lit sign face over 48"x96".

Acrylic can also be used to produce gorgeous interior lobby signs. Sign-A-Rama has tremendous experience mixing multiple acrylic colors and vinyl options together to create incredibly professional interior lobby and corporate signs. When you pair the acrylic options with our inhouse 3D routing capabilities the options are endless!

Styrene - Styrene is another great economical sign solution. We typically mount full color prints to the thin pliable material and use it in conjunction with trade show displays. It is durable, doesn't fold or wrinkle and is easy to transport in a tube.

PVC Signs - PVC comes in multiple colors and thicknesses, this makes it a great material for interior hanging signs or even custom routed signs. PVC can be used plain, have vinyl layered on top, or it can be custom painted. PVC is also a standard sign material choice for routed 3D corporate lobby signs.
